Nok
‘I love being in the rehearsal room; it is much better than sitting in front of the piano by myself. Let’s make magic together.’
Pornchanok has a very good sense of music . She also braves to explore many different options when I challenge her to try them. Nok is very flexible in terms of re-correct the detail of work and fixing the right thing into their place, But the strongest point of Pornchanok is her commitment and her responsibility. She never failed me when she accepts to work for our group. She also got a very good family who supports her in this art world. (this is very rare to find, most Thai families don’t support their child to work in art, especially in Theatre)
-Nikorn Sae Tang, Director of Theatre8x8 Thailand
Ms. Kanchanabanca exhibits all of the characteristics of a first rate sound designer. She has very well trained ears listening both for musical pitch, appropriate equalization and delay in sound reinforcement systems, and mix balance. She can do this while maintaining a dramaturgical perspective on a show, deciding where a boost to a mic, or a new sound cue might help to move the story along, enhance a joke or elucidate a moment of truth. She was capable of navigating a conversation with both a musical director about dynamics and timing of the band’s performances, and speaking in technical terms with our mix engineer. When another project took me away from the show she did a fantastic job of continuing to refine the show and did so with the full support of our director and the producer.
